I'm Back!

Saludos terrícolas:

Larga espera, pero pude retomar el blog, después de.. un año si soy exacto, fueron muchas las causales que me complicaron el trabajo en éste espacio, pero bueno acá vuelve el Mago Nio's, que claramente no estaba muerto ni andaba de parranda, solamente no tenía tiempo. Se viene recargado, pero no con subidas de todos los días, sino que periódicamente, ojala entiendan los que siempre se han mantenido fieles a éste espacio. Todas las dudas, consultas, preguntas por passwords al mail, se los agradecería. Un gran abrazo para los fieles y para los no tanto.

Max Cavalera (Massimiliano Antonio Cavalera nacido 4 de agosto de 1969 en Belo Horizonte, Brasil) es un músico brasileño.

Fue vocalista y guitarrista del grupo de Thrash Metal, Sepultura. Tras abandonar la banda, por problemas con su hermano, Igor Cavalera; Max formó Soulfly a finales de los años 90. A mediados de esa misma década, Max participó en el proyecto Nailbomb, de corta vida.

Está interesado en temas religiosos y políticos, a menudo con tono crítico. La prensa (sobre todo la estadounidense) le califica de religioso y que odia rotundamente a todos los políticos, aunque él no comparte esta afirmación. Hace poco tie

mpo que Max y su hermano Igor se han reconciliado, varias veces ha sido anunciada la vuelta de Sepultura con Max e Igor pero no se ha confirmado nada, ya que sus ex compañeros de trabajo de la agrupación Sepultura y él mismo han desmentido todos estos rumores.

A principios de los 90 Max se mudó a Phoenix, Arizona, E.E.U.U., con Gloria, su mánager y esposa.

A mediados de Agosto de 2007, Max formo con Igor Cavalera, Joe Duplantier y Marc Rizzo, Cavalera Conspiracy, un grupo de Death Metal/Thrash Metal (estilo definido segun su Myspace),debutaron a finales de Agosto en el Festival D-Low Memorial con la otra banda de Max Soulfly.Un nuevo disco saldra a la luz el 25 de Marzo de 2008.

Sepultura:
Sepultura es una banda brasileña de death/thrash metal. Fue formada en la ciudad de Belo Horizonte por dos hermanos, Max e Igor Cavalera, que aprendieron a dominar sus instrumentos autodidácticamente: Max la guitarra e Iggor la batería, juntándose con algunos amigos del barrio donde vivían, en la dura realidad económica y social de Belo Horizonte, en el estado de Minas Gerais; Paulo Pinto en el bajo y Jairo T en la segunda guitarra. Las influencias principales de Sepultura (un grupo que también influyó en la creacion de un Thrash Metal más duro) son: Slayer, Sadus, Motörhead, Sacred Reich y otros. El estilo de Sepultura ha variado a lo largo de su discografía, incluyendo vertientes como el Death Metal, el Thrash metal, Música industrial y elementos de la música étnica de Brasil. Angra:
La formación primigenia de Angra se remonta a 1992 y está compuesta por Luis Barrios a las voces y teclado, Kiko Loureiro a la guitarra, Rafael Bittencourt como segunda guitarra, Luis Mariutti al bajo y Marco Antunes a la batería. Mayhem:

Mayhem es una banda de Black metal noruego que se formó en 1983. La formación original del grupo consistía en Manheim en la batería, Euronymous en la guitarra y Necrobutcher al bajo. El nombre de la banda fue tomado del título de una canción de Venom, que se llamaba: "Mayhem With Mercy". Mucha controversia ha rodeó a la banda en sus inicios, varios asesinatos, suicidios y otras formas de violencia.

Slayer:
Fue fundada en el parque de Huntington (no Huntington Beach como se ha divulgado a menudo), California en 1982 por los guitarristas Kerry King y Jeff Hanneman, reclutando para la banda al bajista/vocalista de origen chileno Tom Araya y al baterista de origen cubano Dave Lombardo. Lombardo ha estado dentro y fuera de la banda varias veces, pero los otros integrantes han sido constantes. Hanneman y King son los compositores principales del grupo.
