Saludos terrícolas:

Larga espera, pero pude retomar el blog, después de.. un año si soy exacto, fueron muchas las causales que me complicaron el trabajo en éste espacio, pero bueno acá vuelve el Mago Nio's, que claramente no estaba muerto ni andaba de parranda, solamente no tenía tiempo. Se viene recargado, pero no con subidas de todos los días, sino que periódicamente, ojala entiendan los que siempre se han mantenido fieles a éste espacio. Todas las dudas, consultas, preguntas por passwords al mail, se los agradecería. Un gran abrazo para los fieles y para los no tanto.

Incubus es una banda de rock alternativo procedente de Calabasas, California. han disfrutado gran éxito en su carrera a lo largo de 16 años con sencillos como "Take me To Your Leader", "A Certain Shade Of Green", "Pardon Me", "Nice To Know You", "Wish You Were Here", Are You In?", "Talk Show On Mute", "Anna Molly", "Dig", "Oil And Water", entre otros temas.

Formada en 1991 por Brandon Boyd (Vocal) y José Pasillas (baterista), quienes se conocían desde la escuela. Poco más tarde José conoció a Michael Einziger (Guitarra), y Dirk Lance (Bass). Al poco tiempo después entró DJ Lyfe, que con el tiempo y por falta de responsabilidad, seria remplazado por "DJ Kilmore"

Influencias:

Influenciados por sonidos como Primus, Mr. Bungle The Police, Deep Purple, Faith No More y Red Hot Chili Peppers pero tienen tendencias actuales y cambiantes. Han influido mucho en el rock alternativo. Una de sus principales características es la capacidad de combinar jazz y funk con sonidos contundentes de guitarras, siendo capaces de mantener una gran intensidad y unas complejas melodías en cada una de las líneas intrumentales y de voz.

Incubus es una banda que en cada álbum cambia muy versátilmente en cuestión musical, pues no se puede comparar su primer disco con el último. Se ve una gran evolución tanto en la interpretación como en la composición de su música...esto es lo que los hace mas atractivo en la industria musical.
